Soarin Dash fanfic CHAPTER 1

A cyan-colored Pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail opened her eyes as Celestia's new morning came and pushed away Luna's moon. "Morning already?" yawning, she remembered something important she had to do, it was important alright, just not as fun as she thought it'd be. "Why me? Do I REALLY have to go to help Twilight reshelf ALL of her books? I hate books! Can't she just get Fluttershy, or Rarity to do that with her? Of all people, why ME?!" She knew she couldn't let down her unicorn friend. Looking over her shoulder at her Wonderbolts clock, she saw she would be late if she didn't leave immediately. "Fine, I won't ditch her… only because I'm the Element of Loyalty." So, without hesitating, the rainbow mare left her cloud home quickly.

"Rainbow Dash! I'm so glad you came to help me reshelf all of these books! I just couldn't do all of this myself without a Pegasus pony like you to take up all these books to the shelves where me and Spike can't reach! I just can't thank you enough for doing this for me!" The purple unicorn pony explained what Rainbow Dash had to do.
"Wait a minute, why don't you use your magic to put all the books up there youself?"
"You see, Spike would be cheering me on and I can't possibly concentrate with all the noise he makes coming from a baby dragon like him!"
"Speaking of Spike, where is he? If he's helping us, shouldn't he be here too?" Rainbow Dash was giving Twilight Sparkle a suspicious glance.
"Oh, that! He went to Cherilee's to pick up a book that she borrowed from me! Yesterday at Sugar Cube Corner, she told me to pick up my book at her house this morning because she was almost done with it, so I sent Spike to pick it up for me."
At that moment, Spike swung the door open exhausted and out of breath.
"Spike what happened to you?! And where is my book?"
"Rainbow… Dash… you… won't believe… this!" Spike was trying to speak as clear as he could doing his best not to sound tired.
"WHAT IS IT!? TELL ME NOW! IS SOMEBODY IN TROUBLE!?!?" Rainbow Dash had a concerned look on her face.
"It's Soarin'! Ya' know, one of the Wonderbolts! He looking for you! He's at Sugar Cube Corner right now! He's asking SPECIFICALLY for you!
"OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH!" The poor mare almost fainted of so much excitement!
"Oh my goodness Rainbow Dash! This is your chance to follow your dreams! You need to leave immediately!" The lavender unicorn was trying to push her Pegasus friend out the door.
"Oh yeah, Twilight, you need to come too! Pinkie wanted to see you! Besides, we can reshelf later when we get back!"
"If you insist! Atleast none of the books are on the floor… or out of place at the most! Let's go then!" The group of friends ran out the door.
